Rehearsals:

Rehearsals take place at Haslingfield Village Hall every Monday and Thursday evening from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
Rehearsals for RolePlay start on Monday 5 March (7.30 pm)

THE PLAY:

Synopsis

Justin and Julie-Ann, hopelessly mismatched in love, are about to introduce their respective parents to each other over dinner
- Justin's upper-crust alcoholic mother from Surrey and Julie-Ann's bigoted Yorkshire father and prim mother.

Back-stage Roles:

If you come along to Haslingfield Village Hall at 7.30 pm for the Read-Through (1 February) and/or Auditions (8 February), you will be able to find out about the various back-stage roles, which include:

Set-building, which includes making various items for the stage, painting the set and prop-making
Costume-making. If you are good with a sewing machine, your skills will certainly come in handy.
Stage crew, which involves changing the set during the performances - another crucial back-stage role.
Make-up. This could be heading up the team, discussing ideas with the director etc. or simply coming along for a few nights during show week and the week before, to help make-up the cast.
