Mixed Emotions

Performed in May 2003, this production comprised 3 one-act plays, each one directed by its own director. Each play was very different in style and content – the aim of the whole production being to convey an evening of mixed emotions.

The Big Cats told the story of Lily’s determined fight to stay in the two-up, two-down terraced house she had shared with her husband Joe for many years. The audience saw her struggle unfold and some even shed a tear or two. Written by Alec Baron.

Stalag 69 was a brief story from World War II. Written by Michael Green.

Costa Del Packet concerned four women arriving in a Spanish holiday resort to indulge in a luxurious, relaxing fortnight without their husbands. What they found on their arrival didn’t quite live up to expectations! Written by Anthony Booth.
