The Wizard of Oz

Performed in November 2004, our version of The Wizard of Oz was largely based on the 1939 film version, and included all the familiar, well-loved songs, as well as additional elements taken from the original books by L. Frank Baum – the first of which was published back in 1900.

The audience were taken on a journey from deepest Kansas, through Munchkinland, down the yellow-brick road, through the Great Forest to the Emerald City of Oz, and to the wicked Witch’s Castle.

The wonderful sets, costumes and make-up (not to mention the songs) made The Wizard of Oz a memorable production for cast, crew and audience alike.
