Hamlet - A Detective Comedy
2010’s Play in a Week was Hamlet – A Detective Comedy, a musical mystery based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, written especially for YLT.
Throughout the week, the cast worked very hard on their characters, the script, and the singing & dancing, and gradually the play was transferred from the floor to the stage. By the Friday night, everything fell into place, and they produced a fantastic performance – well supported by a super audience who laughed and applauded throughout the show. Here are some comments by the children about their week:
